My 5 Favourite Art Podcasts - Part 1

Are you a podcast lover like me? If you are, here are my top favourite art podcast recommendations. I have divided them into two types - Art Business and Art Making.

Today let's talk about Art Business podcasts. These don’t necessarily talk about how to make good art, but focus more on the business aspect of being an artist, which I find super interesting. I will do another post on the podcasts that focus more on the tips and techniques on creating art some other day.

1. LAURA HORN ART PODCAST:

This is a beautifully pleasant podcast hosted by the sweetest artist I've come across, Laura Horn. Laura creates abstract art, and I love her approach to business and marketing, which is not pushy, yet is very practical.

2. ART JUICE:

Hosted by two British artists - Alice Sheredon and Louise Fletcher, this is a fun light hearted podcast about what life is like being an artist, and how to succeed with the same.

3. 3 POINT PERSPECTIVE:

This is a podcast about being a professional illustrator, and the creative and business parts that make up the life of an illustrator, hosted by Jake Parker, Will Terry and Lee White

4. DO IT FOR THE PROCESS:

This is a podcast about running an online creative business hosted by Emily Jeffords. She started the hashtag #doitfortheprocess, and talks about having a fulfilling and rewarding life as an artist.

5. THE JENNA RAINEY SHOW:

Hosted by a watercolor illustrator, Jenna Rainey, this podcast is great of practical advice on being an artist.

Tomorrow, I will list down the podcasts that talk about art supplies or the process of creating art, which is fascinating in another way and a great resource as well! So stay tuned :)
